ABOUT THIS CEMETERY

About Riverside National Cemetery

The most active national cemetery in the VA system, spanning 921 acres in Southern California. More than 301,000 veterans and family members rest across its vast, seemingly identical sections — which is exactly where Memor's GPS navigation ends the searching.

Dedicated in 1978 on land from the former March Air Force Base, Riverside features a central memorial boulevard, reflecting lakes, and dedicated sections for Medal of Honor recipients and Tuskegee Airmen. Its Medal of Honor Memorial is among the largest in the nation.
